Time management and eating right

Like most of you, I lead a pretty busy lifestyle. I have found that if I take two hours on Sundays to prepare for the coming week, it really seems to help me to manage time and stay on track; especially for lunches at work where your efforts can easily be derailed. I'll fire up the grill and cook ab...

There are these new steamer bags I found in the grocery. You pop in some fresh brocolli, a touch of water, a pinch of salt and in five minutes, hot fresh veggies. They are awesome. I've implemented the steamer bags also...Another idea is to invest in a simple rice cooker which has the steamer tray ...

1 - your starting calories intake should be about 12 x bw in pds so 12 x 240 = 2882 2 - of your 2882, start at 1g of protein per pd of bw = 240g/day or 1680cals 3 - start carbs at 150g day i'd say or 600cals (2280 total cal's so far) 4 - now simply make up the rest of your cal's with healthy fats w...

Do I count these carbs?

When watching or monitoring carb intake do I count carbs I derive from fruits?

Or, should I subtract them from total because these make up a part of "good" carbs?

Thanks in advance!

White albacore tuna, swordfish, and salmon are good choices. Full of omega 3s and a healthy source of protein.

13 grams of carbs from fat free milk?

I'm trying to keep carbs to no more than 100 grams per day but am finding it very difficult. If I have two protein shakes per day with 3 cups of fat free milk (1.5 cups each shake) that provides 52 grams of carbs just from protein shakes. That leaves me a balance of 48 grams of carbs in foods. By th...

I'm a beginner at both. eating plan is pretty simple; lean meats, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. I have eliminated fast food, processed foods, and sweets from diet.

I try to limit calories to 1500 -1800 and exercise.
