I'm 46 years old, losing 50+ lbs. I have seen physique deteriorate largely in part due to poor diet and libido decrease which was verified by recent blood tests.
I have significantly improved diet and have begun reqular workouts.
As part of supplementation, I take 25mg of DHEA to help regain physique and get all the other anti-aging benefits. Not as a muscle-building steroid!
I'm wondering if I should stick with the DHEA or switch to HGH?
Any other 40 somethings out there using these? Which do you like? Any product recommendations?
DHEA or HGH for 40-somethings?

Don't bother with either frankly.
DHEA has been used a prohormone, but most people who use it don't give it rave reviews.
It's oftne prescribed to over 50's to slow down muscle deterioration, and if you haven't bene taking something like Milk Thistle with it, beware, as it might interact with your Liver, and could promote Liver issues, if you haven't been using a protectorant with it.
The workouts and improve diet would help. You'd only really need something good like a Protein and Carb supplement for after workouts, and maybe a Glutamine for bedtime. Could have a small Protein shake about 1/3 of the reccomended dose, prior to bed, to reduce some of the muscle Catabolism at night, but that's all.
If you did do that, you might be better having a Carb free shake, if you find some Carbs cause you sleep issue,s as a few say it does, (I don't get such problems), but if you chose Carb free powders, you ucould always Carb your shakes after workouts with things like Crushed Oats, Honey etc etc, and have half an uncarbed shake at bed.
