Re: Feeling sick after workouts

I eat, but usually just something like eggs or cereal and not meat (if that makes a difference). I drink probably 40 ounces of water a day which I know is less than I should, but I used to drink close to 90 ounces of water a day and still had the same problem. I'm definitely not short of breath. I j...

Feeling sick after workouts

Hey y'all, I haven't been on here in a while because I haven't been working out nearly as much over the past year, and I also didn't know where I should post this thread. Over the past few months, I've only been lifting about 2-3 times a week (~40 minute sessions) and playing basketball 2-3 times a ...

I can't help you answer your question, but if you go to a gym you may be able to find an assisted chinup machine which basically removes the amount of weight you have to pull up and allows you to build a solid base in preparation for legitimate chinups

I've gotten all straight As at first two semesters of college! Only 10 more semesters to go ..

You should keep your whole body straight on the bench, push your chest out a bit, have a comfortable grip on the bar, and make sure your feet stay flat on the floor .. that about sums it up in opinion
And that's really not that much weight to be honest.

I've always touched chest, and I've seen a lot of people who can't even bend down that far and get the same results. Just try to establish at least a 90 degree angle at least. I've seen too many people lower the bar roughly two inches and push it back up and call that a rep.

ehhh, i'd say stay off machines, lift faster than 4 second reps, higher weight / lower reps than 8-10, and don't do negatives Some people, like myself, don't have a workout buddy. Machines make it possible for me to even work out by myself. then i'd suggest using lighter weights or different lifts....

i play a little basketball and find that i improve more from practicing and playing games than i do from exercising. your shot takes time, and i think that it's more based on practice than lifting weights.
