Ok i will do, I wont be able to do deads and squats as the cast comes to just below knee level, ankle is immobilised...so I dont think I will be able to? What single leg exercises can I do? I can think of pistol squats, leg curls and quad raises using the resistance machines... are there any others?...

thanks very much for the advice, I was doing planks before I realised Id broken foot by putting the bad foot ontop of other one if you get me, is this not a good way to do the plank? People rave on about how good eggs are for you... i totally agree. Then everyone says that they are bad for you due to high cholesterol levels...

Is it normal for the lower back to hurt the day after doing deadlifts? It only normally lasts a day and just feels like next day aching like muscles usually do after strength training, but just wanted to check as the lower back is an area I dont really want to mess up...
