I really wouldn't worry about it, if you've just hit puberty or are going through it at the moment, you can have excess testosterone which is the growth hormone made by the body, if too much comes at once the body turns it into oestrogen, which people think primarily is the 'girl' hormone, which to ...

You have to do cardio! cardio actually assists with muscle gains! you have to be doing large amounts of cardio e.g. 50mins a day everyday for it to actually be burning muscle. when doing cardio, first thing in the morning before eating it will burn fat. If you do cardio after eating it burns carbs....

gaining muscle and reducing thin layer of fat around abs.

Hi, I've been working out for just over a year now, and gains have been slow, but I am pleased with gains so far, the only thing is I have a thin layer of fat over abs, I was just wondering whether it's possible to get rid of it, maybe with some more cardio, but will this reduce muscle gains? thanks

I'd say diet is well balanced, complex carbs and high quality protein and whey, for cardio i do roughly 25mins of running 3 times a week, and for weights i do 3-4sets, 12 reps of a light weight, 10 with moderate and 8-10 of a heavy weight, then if i do a fourth set on more of the compound exercises ...

I was just wondering which kind of reps and sets are the best, i've been doing exercises in this way, 12 reps of a light weight, 10 of a moderate weight and then 8-10 of a heavy weight...
