How to loose fat during muscle gain

Post by mast_kalandar »

I work out 5 days a week and 45 minutes daily. I have fat around waist which I want to lose, I have read at many aricles that when you try to lose fat, you first lose your muscles hence i'm little scared while doing cardio.

Please let me know how can i sucessfully execute both the programs (muscle gain and losing fat)

Well.... its Hard To burn fat why your banging back all the carbs proteins ect..

if i was you mate i wouldnt really worry, just bulk up adde some muscle
and when you find your at the size you want start cutting up....other then that im not really sure you could lower your carbs slightly and by the way it might seem like fat but some times it accurly can be access water.

if you think you might have some water there i wouldnt worry to much when your cutting up trying to lose water around your abs do some cardio.

do treadimll wear a black bag under your cloths and tuck it in.
it will feel like your in a saurna youll be sweting like hell.

any ways hope this help a little.

if i can help any other ways add me and give me a yell good luck

its all up to you man. if you don't like what you see in the mirror and you think you're fat, then you should lose the little weight and then start bulking up.

i know bulking and cutting when you're at your "ideal" weight seems really awesome and might seem practical, but if you're fat now, why would you wanna be fatter? and its not as easy as it sounds losing weight.

so look in the mirror, do you like what you see? if not then lose the little bit of fat that you have. if you're fine with the way you look now, in terms of fat, and if you don't think you're really that fat, then bulk up and put on some muscle.

and to answer your question, you won't lose muscle while losing fat if you still LIFT WEIGHTS. losing fat is more of a diet thing so lift weights to at least maintain your muscle or maybe even put on more size.

cheers :D

You have to do cardio! cardio actually assists with muscle gains! you have to be doing large amounts of cardio e.g. 50mins a day everyday for it to actually be burning muscle. when doing cardio, first thing in the morning before eating it will burn fat. If you do cardio after eating it burns carbs. If you have fat around your it will burn the fat before it burns muscle. your body is constantly going through anabolic and catabolic stages (muscle gaining, muscle brake down) and by doing 30mins of cardio 3 times a week this will not burn muscle! it also helps increase muscle density!

hope this helps, anymore questions are always welcome :)

you can do cardio for less duration per day and it can burn muscle but it depends on calorie intake pre cardio (fasted cardio is not the way to go), overall calorie intake and pre existing muscle mass levels

This doesn't sound right to me. After a certain point in a workout, you will start breaking down muscle. Your body isn't going to wait to eat through all the fat before it gets to the muscle, which is why most weightlifters will only be at the gym for an hour, or a little more, max.

But yeah, you'll need to mix in cardio to burn that fat, and of course calorie intake is the most important.

But to get any good advice you're going to need to post your routine.

yes certainly, at a certain point you will start to burn muscle, but this would be by doing alot of cardio, doing 30mins 3 times a weeks will not burn muscle, when applied with good nutrition.

Losing fat is not easy, but can be made easy by strong will. Cardio exercises are the best to lose fat. They do not stop your muscle growth. They buid fatless muscles. For more details you can see http://lose-fat-.com/25--exer ... y-fat.html
