February routine
I had been somewhat in active in the workout way the last few months of 2010. I walked a lot and did some cardio but working out laxed off quite a bit. I resumed in January with a mostly body weight, resistance bands and some weights. I kept at it pretty good; working out 3 to 4 times a week with on...

Re: P90x- how to add these workouts
I did the P90X last year for 2 months before pulling a groin real good and basically had to take nearly a month off from doing much. It is a great workout. I still do some of the dvd's here and there but core workout now mixes more weights than the P90X but I still try to keep about the same pace fo...

Re: Needing some advice on size and shape
Generally, you don't need to work out everyday as your body needs rest, the muscle needs rest - 5 days a week max for working out, unless you are under some kind of professional supervision. There are others here more qualified to give detailed diet advice, but you'll need to up your calorie intake ...

current routine - thoughts?
About every 4 to 6 weeks I change up workout routine. I work out mostly 3 days a week, once in a while 2 - mainly because of schedule. This is workout and any thoughts and comments on it would be appreciated: In order of how I do it - 3 sets (again, sometimes because of time 2): 35 regular pushups (...

Re: 5 day workout vs day rest between workouts
Most folks will tell you that rapid weight loss isn't the way to go - it can work against you. Diet is the most important thing followed by sensible workout regiments. It sounds like your committed but impatient. If you're not accustomed to that kind of stress on the body you could seriously hurt yo...

The P90X program will kick your a** unless of course you are in really top nptch shape. It won't make you big but it will make you strong, your endurance will sky rocket and you will shape out. The workouts are paced quick, they are focused and you have to be disciplined to stay with it. I could nev...

Last time I had stitches which was many years ago - they said 6 to 8 weeks depending on healing. Just because it may look and feel fine in a shorter amount of time, it doesn't mean it's a 100%. You could stress it, and tear the muscle and skin causing infection and or scarring tissue to occur. This ...
