Post by Fire_Squad5 »

I've heard pretty good stuff about P90X...Does this workout videos actually work? And also what will be better P90X or actually hitting the weight in the gym?

Thanks

It depends on what weight you hit at the gym and what exercises you do. You don't need P90X to get results although it is one way to get them that actually works (so i've heard).

The P90X program will kick your a** unless of course you are in really top nptch shape. It won't make you big but it will make you strong, your endurance will sky rocket and you will shape out.

The workouts are paced quick, they are focused and you have to be disciplined to stay with it. I could never workout on won like this program. Maybe other can but I'd take longer breaks and never pushed myself the way this program pushes.

You will burn boatloads of calories and if you "bring out" you will be wasted when these sessions are over.

Again, getting big is not the plan here but for 3 months it will be one hell of a ride.

Hi,

I am currently using P90X. The workouts are very challenging compared to using machines at the gym.

As for which is better, it depends. For me, I get better result from doing P90X compared to gym membership because its more convenient for me. I can do the workout anytime I want because I do it at home.

Anyways, good luck.

BTW - If you decide to get P90X, I can help you get a 10% discount.

P90X from experience is amazing! It gives you a variety of workouts from push-ups and pull-ups, to Yoga, to Kenpo, to Plyometrics, to weights. It gives you different schedules to work with, and makes it adaptable for everyone. They show you how to make the routines easier, or harder. I say get it!

I really liked P90X and was happy with the increase in fitness and endurance. Dreaded the Yoga days and struggled with that. It's a really good program to increase your fitness level if you are already in pretty good shape.

I recently tried P90x. This program is very demanding but the work pays off. I've seen a huge increase in endurance. Good program for cutting while building muscle. strength stayed about the same but I'm now quicker, more flexible, have more endurance. I recommend this program because it takes you out of your regular element and really spices things up in the gym. If you're looking to change things up and challenge yourself, I recommend getting this.
