Argh! Haven't been doing squat for exercise (unless you count chasing around a 1 year old that just learned to walk/run last month)! Only been watching what I'm eating and making sure I'm not going over, at most, 2000 calories a day. Been for the most part keeping calorie intake at about 1500/day, but some days it goes to about 1700.
On an up-note...
Hmmm...how do I put this, When I was pregnant I went through stages of maternity pants (obviously). I had a couple of smaller maternity pants that I wore when I first started to show and could no longer fit into pre-preggers pants or size 16's, and I had a couple of larger maternity pants that I wore when I got closer to due date (I stayed in these pants well after daughter was born and it drove me nuts).
Last week, I noticed the "larger maternity pants" weren't fitting so well. I was constantly hiking them up (I honestly thought I had worn them so much I had just stretched them out). I was going through our closet one day and found 4 pairs of pants. 2 of them were "smaller maternity pants" that I hadn't seen since I was about 4-5 months pregnant, goal, pre-preggers pants, and a pair of 16's I hadn't seen since freshman year of college 6 years ago.
First, I thought I would try on pre-preggers pants, just to see how they did, or did not, fit. I was shocked to see I could get them up, just not buttoned (when I first started coming to this site, I couldn't even get them up past thighs). Soon, I thought, they will be "Standing pants"...pants I wear when I don't have to sit down. LOL
Secondly, I figured if could get pre-preggers pants UP where they belong on hips, I should have no problem with the smaller maternity pants. I tried them on and was so happy to see that I was going down in pant size. So, even though I am STILL in maternity pants, they're the smaller sized maternity pants with a smaller waist band. The larger ones have since been donated to GoodWill since I do not plan on being back in them any time soon.
The 16's fit, no elastic waist band, and I am able to button them up without problem. They're a little tight in the hip area, but not so much that they are uncomfortable.
So even though I haven't been working out as much as I'd like to, eating better, keeping an eye on calorie intake and NOT binging on everything I see in sight is helping a little.
I'm so close to being able to wear only size 16 pants that bf is really trying to motivate me to get butt back into it so I can be in more of those pants and completely out of maternity pants by the US Thanksgiving time. I have exactly 1 month from today. birthday is the day before Thanksgiving...it will be a great birthday gift to myself to be out of maternity pants by then.
