Re: Pyramid vs. Same Weight/Same Reps
thanks Boss Man. See, I used to do every exercise 5-6 sets in a pyramid, but I don't have the time for all that these days and I can better quality to lifts. Plus, I'm thinking the gains won't be much different as I believe its more about diet anyways. Right now I do one of the big 3's every other d...

Pyramid vs. Same Weight/Same Reps
Ok, so I'm wanting some of your opinions on a 3 sets for 10 reps vs. 3 sets at 12, 8, 4 pyramid. We normally hear about a pyramid workout with 5 - 10 sets, but not 3 sets. I'm experimenting with a workout for muscle gain doing Big 3(Bench, Squat, Deadlift) with 6-10 sets while other exercises at 3 s...

How can I get big Big?
A couple of years ago I saw Dr. Dre at an awards showing looking like his usual overweight self slumped over in baggy clothes, then I didn't see him for like a year or two, and then out of no where this diesel truck came out for another awards show. question is "What is he taking?" I've be...

Flaxseed and Fish Oil
I have been taking some flaxseed and fish oil pills. When I first started taking the pills they seemed normal. Now, they feel rubbery in hands and I can squeeze them. I know I heard on the news a couple of years ago about how some fish oil pills can be giving an empty benefit if they are too old and...

Boss Man, Usually any type of curl using the natural curl motion using a barbell or dumbbell. Reverse curls don't bother it much as the focus of intensity is in a different part of the forearm. I feel the pain when I bring the dumbbell or barbell up, then feel it more when I release the weight on wa...

Forearm Pain/Strain
Has anyone ever experienced pain in their forearms right along the bone where the flexors meet the bone on the bottom side of the forearm? They usually hurt when I hit a certain weight with the dumbbells. I was wondering that maybe I am being a little too ambitious with the weight cause this happene...

Looking for new routines
If anyone has any workout routines or websites of workout programs that they don't mind sharing with me, I would like that very much. I'm always curious to see what others are doing and how they are doing things to change routine around.

Sounds like a rotator cuff problem. Try doing exercises to rehabilate a rotator cuff for a couple of weeks. Also apply ice daily several times throughout the day(10min on, a few off and so on), take aspirin too. If all that doesn't help matters, then I would see a doctor. Would you mind giving me wh...

5x5 Method
I have been doing the 5x5 method. question is this. In doing this method I do every exercise with this method. Would you recommend only doing the bigger/heavier exercises with this method then dropping a couple of set on the other exercises? For example if doing chest, I do decline, flat, and incline...
