5x5 Method
I have been doing the 5x5 method. question is this. In doing this method I do every exercise with this method. Would you recommend only doing the bigger/heavier exercises with this method then dropping a couple of set on the other exercises? For example if doing chest, I do decline, flat, and incline presses 5x5. Then I do dips, fly's, etc. Should I do presses 5x5 and the dips, flys 3x8 or 10 or something. Also, I was thinking of doing different exercises every week for awhile on every body part and seeing how that goes. But before I do that I like to know what weight I can lift and increase every time. For exampe if I do Standing Barbell curls wide grip at 100lbs one week, and then the next week I do E-Z bar close grip curls, how do I know what weight to put on. Should I start at around 100lbs and see from there, or should I just do the same exercises for a few weeks increasing every week, and then change it up a little. Tell me what yall think.
- do 2 exercises max with it per session and make them row, squat, deadlift, bench or pull up exercises not curls or anything like that
- only 1 5 x 5 exercise per muscle/week
- yeah do other exercises w/ tregular sets and reps like 3 x 10, 2 x 15 etc
- you can try it for a trial but for an actual program you can't see progress with strength levels which should always be goal number 1
- just guess...ez curls will probably be lighter than bb curl so go a little less wt and find out...this is why as a program it's not great

Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely take your info. into consideration. Also, thanks for pointing out your articles in the reference materials over the sciatic nerve posting I put out earlier. One question with that though. What is meant by (20x0 Tempo or 1011 Tempo) Was not too clear on that in the neanderthal workouts.
