Re: Haven't lost weight in 2 weeks - Have I hit a plateau??

I think Dustin explained it very well. Here are just a few more ideas I use for workouts: 1. work have two workouts: Workout A and Workout B. This will help you mix up your exercises easier and keep your body guessing. 2. do supersets: do two exercises one right after the other without rest between....

Re: lose fat

I wish there is spot reducing because I noticed that stomach is the last place I see results. Bummer. But after a few months of high intensity aerobics, I started to notice some big difference in overall body shape. I believe it's key to mix up your routines and keep your body guessing which makes i...

Re: Short workout

I need to incorporate more Tabatha workouts in to training. Tabata's great! I like to think of Tabata as "explosive" days. Recently I'm also incorporating a session of yoga on Tabata days too. But if you haven't tried Tabata before, here's a few tips to get started: 1.start with one exerc...

Re: Short workout

Tabata is an unbelievable cardio workout. I like to add it in 2 days per week to add a different intensity to schedule. Usually I'll do a 10 minute warm up before it and just go with one or two exercises.

Re: 30 minutes of cardio

Yes, I definitely think that Tae Bo Cardio is a great start! As long as you are getting a good workout from it and feeling the intensity, you should be able to burn calories. If you feel the workout isn't challenging anymore, then it would be time to look into another program. The key is to stay act...

Re: Exercises for 9 to 9 job, female.

Hi DArt,
That's quite a tough work schedule for your girlfriend. I would agree with Boss Man's bodyweight workouts which will give a great workout. I would also suggest to look into fitness dvds simply because the program and schedule are already planned.

Re: Any way to transform body in 4 weeks?

Hi Keira, You could also try supersets which is doing one exercise right after another without any rest in between. That's one rep. Then rest 1 minute and do two more reps. Do about 3 supersets per day. When you pair exercises, pick ones that work different parts of the body. You'll also want to mix...

Re: You Are Your Own Gym Program

I also think this is a great program especially to start out with. I'm a big fan of bodyweight exercises and it has helped me get toned and lean. The great thing is that you can do these exercises anywhere. Learn to use your own weight as resistance and how to make the most out of your body.

Re: How do I lose fat?

Hi pheonixrider, What you want to do are full body workouts to burn off fat from the entire body. What I find most effective are aerobics and cardio exercises which just gets you constantly moving and sweating. You could also look into HIIT cardio which is alternating between high and low intensity ...

Re: Advice for Insanity?

I just started Insanity yesterday, and I did workout for today and I'm dead! It is the most intense workout I have ever done, and I'm looking to tone up abs. During the exercises I have to stop 1-2 times, and sometimes muscles can't handle it. Has this happened to anyone? I'm not overweight, and I'...

Re: lose fat

I have little fat on arms, but a lot of fat on the . weight is 52.5 kg, waist is 32 inches and the lower abdomen is 34 inches and hips are 35 inches. This gives it a protruding shape making it look ugly. I want to have it straight and reduce the overall waistline to 30. I don't want to lose fat on ...

How about the plank? It tones the same muscle groups as pushups (arms, shoulders, abs, legs). You could squeeze your chest together while holding the position.

Re: Help me pick an at-home DVD workout

I'm currently working out with Focus T25. It's more intense than I expected to be which is good. I used to run or work out for an hour and didn't imagine that a 25 minute workout like T25 would give me a good burn. There's a lot of full body movements which sometimes I can't keep up because of bad k...
