Re: New workout or supplements?
Add more calories in then. I'd suggest for now a moderate increase, because if you just go for 1,000+ you're in danger of putting on too much added fat with muscle, that would be hard to shift. If you aim for about 300 more calories a day, assuming you're eating 6 meals a day, you could add another...

Re: New workout or supplements?
What do you mean by new diet? Do you mean a different diet plan, like one of those ones endorsed by famous people or literature, or do you just mean increasing calories. No, I do not read that kind of magz. I mean: I know I have to eat a defined amount of prots/carbs/fats. The new diet would be try...

New workout or supplements?
Hi:
I have been in a plateau for a long time. I tried a new workout and diet, but didn't work - I mean, I didn't gain even a pound.
So I wonder if something else could be wrong (do I need supplements: NO, BCAA...?)
OR should I try again a new change in workout.
Thanks!!!

I feel bored of the gym... what to do?
Hi: I feel bored of the gym since about 3 weeks ago. I tried changing workout, but finally, I was beated by laziness, and I have not exercised since last Wednesday. I know it is wrong, but I do not find enough motivation. I used to try gaining weight, but now I think I got goal. I know I should stil...

How long stop cretine?
Hi: About 3 weeks ago I stopped a 1-month creatine cycle, during which I got great results (+2kg: that's a lot for me!). Seems it is not water retention, since several people have told me I do look bigger and in fact stats did grow a little bit (in proportion to 2kg). Ok, I also was on a hight prote...

why do we grow different?
Hello: neighbor trains hard and does have big arms (he is about height). However, despite big dumbells, his chest is undeveloped. Weird, isn't it? Something similar happens to me: for some exercise I can lift more than others, but I have less muscle than them. When I started the gym first months I d...

Re: Help: Still no progress!
OK, thanks swanso5, but it's too much information. Let's see if I understood: Training - 3 leg, 3 rowing, 2 core, 2 chest, 2 pull up/down, 2 shoulder, 2 bicep, 2 tricep and breaking them up into a 3 day plan so 6 exercises per day: Mon: 2 Chest + 2 Biceps Wed: 2 Back + 2 Triceps Fri: 3 Leg+ 2 Should...

Help: Still no progress!
Hello everybody: First a quick background: I am 170cm/ 5'7". I have been exercising since 2001, starting at only 49Kg. In first 3 months I gained like 6 kg, then gains were slower. I had also ulcerative colitis for 9 years, so I was usually very sick (bleeding, diarrhea, weight loss), and I had...

Re: What did Taylor Lautner do?
Hello cassiegose: Now that you mention it, actually when I started at the gym, about 8 years ago, in the first 3 months I gained about 20 lbs, and in one year I did accumulate about 30 lbs. However I started at 108 lbs (I am 5 ' 7''). And as you said, I did gain some fat and it wasn't so visible (al...

What did Taylor Lautner do?
Hello everybody: I watched an interview to Taylor Lautner, the actor from "new moon", and I wonder how in the world he could gain 30 pounds in one year without (allegedly) steroids. Does somebody around here know if he has "premium" genetics, or it was possible only with help of ...

is posture and pressing abs cheating for looking better?
Hello: OK, I accept I have some fat on waist, but I have realized that if I have a good back posture and press in abs, I look better. Now, I wonder: 1- is it a good idea trying to keep the whole day abs pressed (is it cheating?), or will give better results doing abdominal exercises for some minutes...

Re: is shaving often good for men?
There might be something in what you're saying. If you're bothered by the process just use an electric shaver, if you're using a blade. I can't understand why people blade shave anyway, it's possibly more expensive, depending on the price of a cheap shaver, in relation to disposable blades. and it ...

is shaving often good for men?
Hello: I read in Men's Health that shaving frequently (2-3 times a week) is good for men 's skin, since shaving stimulates the production of some substance that makes skin look younger. father and uncle do shave very often and their skin shows their age. In case, I just shave about each week, becaus...
