Hello:
OK, I accept I have some fat on waist, but I have realized that if I have a good back posture and press in abs, I look better. Now, I wonder:
1- is it a good idea trying to keep the whole day abs pressed (is it cheating?), or will give better results doing abdominal exercises for some minutes a day?
2- if people around here (those that show their flat abs) are used to have the whole day their abs pressed (would be cheating?) or they have too little fat that their stomach can be very relaxed and still look flat.
3- how helpful are those posture improving clothes (if useful, is using them cheating?)
Thanks!
is posture and pressing abs cheating for looking better?

I can't say if what you're talking about is cheating or not. I mean cheating only applies if your in a competitive environment, like Baseball, Golf, Olympics, Poker, Monopoly, Scrabble Championships etc etc.
However it might just be likely to cause a risk of mild strain, bearing in mind like all Muscles, Abs can be torn, strain, or injured, so basically I'd stop doing it. It might just be hindering your abdominal recovery.
Plus you sound like you're trying to manually recreate the effect, those god awful electronic belts do, that slightly chargrill your Abs.
Also those things you're talking about waering, like some sort of body stocking that appears to hide an inch of thigh Fat, are just an excuse for someone to forget that last 20lbs is there so they don't have to work them off, which is little self defeating from a psychological point of view.
Kind of like saying I can have cake and eat it sometimes, then cover up guilty secrets with a trendy kind of surgical support, which is not really an answer.
If you're just talking about wearing something like black, because it looks slimming, then yeah, that's okay, because you're not fooling yourself in a way people with fabric based slimming aids are.
I don't really know what else to say.
