A Problem For Many Women Worldwide

Post by Boss Man »

It appears there is a serious epidemic of something called CSD.

CSD better known as Chronic Shoe Disorder, is a disease affecting an area of the Brain called the Limbic System, (Hippocampus and Amygala), an area which affects emotions.

It would seem that some sort of hormonal imbalance occurs in some Women, leading to an uncontrollable desire for excessive amounts of Shoes.

This unfortunate addiction affects women mainly in the 16 -50 age range, where it can start in puberty, but it would seem after 50, levels of what is known as SCH, (Shoe Compulsion Hormone), seem to decrease, lessening the affects of CSD.

However CSD has another more serious side effect, called CSF or Chronic Shoe Fatigue.

This can manifest itself, when the individual has so many shoes, they find it too stressful, working out which pair to wear on any given day.

CSF gets worse depending on the number of shoes the Women owns, and if the stress levels get too high on a daily basis, the resulting Cortisol releases, can lead to weight gain, and then there is a real problem, because if the person gets too much weight gain, their Shoes may become too narrow for their enlarged Feet.

If this happens, the person could seriously Hyperventilate, and coupled with their decreased Heart health, suffer a Shoe related Heart Attack.

Fortunately, here is some practical advice to avoid any future problems, and overcome an addiction, or possible addiction.

Firstly you need to go on a strict Shoe Diet, consisting mainly of the three main Shoe Macronutrients, Casual, Work and Exercise Shoes.

For Casual, you should include up to two types of Shoe or Boot, but no more than three. Three is anough pairs for adequate casual activity in the week. You can however mix and match, as your Diet could consist of just Shoes, or just Boots, or a mix of both, as long as you don't exceed the maximum three Shoes or Boots a week.

For work, you only need one pair. If you do have a job where it's casual dress, all the better, if not then something a little bit smarter may be required, but don't go overboard on the frills and appearance, you want function only, not facade. You could have a Boot instead of Shoe, as this is an accepted part of your diet.

If you need to then possibly another shoe for things like social events, funerals, etc etc, although a good practical work Shoe or Boot, could be used here, to simplify your diet.

One pair of Exercise Shoes is usually enough, however if you feel you need one for a differing type of exercise, like say Cardio, or Weights, depending on whether you like to run more, or lift more, you can be allowed a "cheat Shoe", but I'd avoid the urge to wear it more than about two to three times a week.

This is a hard diet to follow, and it won't be easy, but it will help you to save money, and be more practical with your choices, health, and increased domestic space.

Plus you will have more money for things you might need, like a new Fridge .

OMG! I thought this was going to be some super serious post. Hahaha!

It's funny, I used to have maybe 4 pairs of shoes and now I have, oh, 25? A bunch are just for modeling, a couple for running, one for teaching classes, one for training clients, one for hiking, one for snowshoeing, a couple dressy pairs, one pair of house shoes, one for fishing, plus a few pairs of sandles. Need I go on?

there is another way to over come the stress

i am a person with this condition. well actually i come from a family of women with this disorder. it started when i reached puberty and has really only gotten worse over the years. i honestly can't remember what i did before having so many pairs of shoes. at first i didn't even realize what was happening. then one day i actally looked at all the shoes i had magically accumilated over about 1 year. i was a secret, or so i thought until one day brother and dad began teasing addiction. i was mortified... lol. then sisters and i began to talk about it. we soon found we had the same problem, but we also had the sam shoe size..... we've found that quitting is much harder than it actually seems. believe me we've tried. so here's our solution to the stress of not finding the right shoes: quantity!!! you will not gain weight because of the increase of cortisol, caused by stress, because will know you have the perfect pair for any outfit. of course it is much easier for us because we have 3 times the amount of the average shoaholic, because we share our hoards. lol. 4 pairs???? what woman could survive on 4 pairs??? that's impossible!!!! well unless you only wear 1 color.... even then.... impossible!!!! just buy them on sale!!!! you can never have enough shoes!!!!! don't let any man deny your right as a female!!!!! lol!!!! but seriusly..... quantity!!! the comfortability doesn't really matter because you really should ever wear one pair too often or for too long, this way your shoes last for years and years and they still look awesome!!!! maybe i need hypnotherapy..... i know i have a problem, but i don't want to quit!!!! lol!!!

Thankfully wife does not suffer from this condition. It would kill me if she did. I know it could truly be a deal-breaker in our relationship. However, if anyone could help with her addiction to multiple types of pasta in the house I would be grateful. At this time I will admit that we both suffer greatly from (MWOS), Movie Watching and Owning Syndrome. We are unsure if this is currently a problem or not but we have observed our daughter displaying the symptoms as well.

Cheers

MWOS could be one of the following.

1. A condition known little about, and hard to treat.

2. A recently named condition, formerly confused as one or more other conditions with similar symptoms.

3. Something specialists say is an imaginary disease, that some people think they've got but haven't, and may be symptomatic of hypochondria.

Reminds me of a some of old casettes. Sadly time but mostly disrespectful casette players of the past, have ravaged their once pleasant sounds, and now the bits of hiss and the slightly muffled noises, mean some will never get to be used again.

Though I've learned over the years to live with the pain :P :P
