Which muscles to train

I'd like to know if I should train 3 days, then a day off and etc.. and how much time does it take to see the muscles? I heard it was 5 months.


I'm currently doing Biceps and triceps on monday, tuesday I workout chest and the back and wednesday I do legs and shoulders and I play squash.
(including forearms and calfs)

What advices would you give me to get visible muscles in the less time possible? I'm currently lifting 170 pounds benchpress 1 rep and goal is to lift up to 250.

3 x full body wotkouts will build more muscle faster doing variations of squats, deadlifts, rows, benched, chins and shoulder presses...yes that means no curls or ext work for arms or crunches for abs

So, swanso, your saying doing those in variation 3x a week, you don't do abs or arms?

yep...i don't isolate abs but do have them most of the time (not eye popping but you cans them) and i don't do cardio either...if your basic exercises are heavy enough your core gets more than enough work from them acting as stabilsers..arms gets worked with every upper exercise you do and with more wt that a curl or pushdown would let you use
