second goal is a cardio goal. Every day, or every other day weather premitting, I take daughter on a 1-2 mile walk around our neighborhood. I want to someday get back to being able to jog 1-3 miles (when I met bf, baby's daddy, I jogged 4-5 days a week and was able to jog 1.5 miles before I had baby). Obviously I know, from already trying, I cannot job the full 1 mile mark. That is first long term goal. Short term is to be able to job 1/2 mile without stopping. bf jogs as well and was able to do 3 miles when we met, but he has fallen off track and can only do the 1 mile. He is really supportive of me and goal. If we go together he uges me to keep going, and I do but I've yet to hit that 1/2 mark jogging.
I told him recently I need new sneakers if I'm going to start jogging again. I have running shoes that I bought when I was pregnant, they supported feet better, but they are finally starting to wear out. The inside soles are slipping and there is not "shock absorbancy" to them anymore. They are still go sneaker for wearing while running errands in the car, but not for jogging. He agreed to get us (both of us need new sneakers) new sneakers made for running on his next paycheck.
