I started a workout routine that involved running, swimming and biking for cardio. I also did full body weight sessions that included squats, push ups, lunges, dumbbell exercises. I was eating relatively well. I was down to 143lbs and I'm 5'5." goal was to be at 135lbs so I was almost there.
In December I met this guy who was really into fitness and he himself had lost 50lbs when I met him, it was great at first. We exercised together, rode our bikes, went swimming, hiking among other activities.
In March we got married!!!! Insane, I know!! and a couple weeks after we married I sprained ankle pretty bad. I usually workout pretty hard in the summer and I do roofing so I get in very good shape, and I don't mean I get super thin. I become much stronger and gain a lot more muscle and I feel like I can do anything. This summer this was the exception, I have sprained ankle 4 times since March and haven't pushed body because of this. In the past I start working out only after 2-3 weeks after spraining ankle and deal with the pain later. I have decided to take it easy this time and I have paid the consequences. I am now 160lbs and most of jeans don't fit anymore!!!

The lack of exercise is not the only problem. I am eating more because I'm sitting around the house more. I am also vegetarian now so lack of protein is really hard to replenish and to get full I eat more carbs, and not necessarily carbs that are good for me.
Today, I am going to start counting calories, getting away from sweets, like pastries, sodas, juices and replacing with a cup of Green Tea.
I think husband is part of the problem too in a way, I know that I shouldn't blame weight gain on anyone since I'm the one that has made all the decisions about eating. But he cooks very differently than me. He loves pasta, carbs and oils and to be honest it's delicious.
I'm getting more motivated to start a routine again and hope to get some support from you guys like I have in the past. I have joined a gym again and plan on going regularly.
