Motivation for winter

Post by happyhappy »

I love running and cycling outdoors, but this is first winter in Canada and I am thinking I'm going to have to head towards the gym...I need to keep motivation up and not sure what the advice is for running in extreme cold...prob don't!

I've run in 10 degrees F, no problem if you tie a scarf around your face and dress appropriately. Sports underwear that leads humidity away from the body is a must.

Yeah thinking I might be ....
Went running this morning, had ear ache from the wind chill and really cold fingers. Got really hot after 15mins but then cooled down so fast after the run and it's only September. Off on bike 2moro, see how that goes.

You mean you lived on these fair shores, then defected?

Where's your sense of patriotism  :P :P

It's okay to come back now anyway, we've got a coalition Government, things will get better, I hope :P.

Needed a change, so applied for a visa a few years back, (not easy process mind) got it last year, so upsticks and went. When an opportunity comes your way you've got to take it..

Well it's certainly a change, though why not the big city per se. I mean you've got Exeter and Plymouth, but they're modest really
