Should I do Interval Training after Strength training, or is it better to do on non strength training days?
Goal is lower body fat.
Interval Training On Weight Lifting Days or Non?
Moderators: Boss Man, cassiegose
Order of preferance.
1. Doing Cardio after a weights day.
2. Doing Cardio several hours after a weights session.
3. Doing Cardio after a weights session.
4. Doing Cardio before a weights session.
Those are listed from most beneficial to least beneficial. I should stress number 4 is still pretty good, but it is almost definitely not as beneficial as the others ranked above it.

Like TrainMiss says, listen to your body. I prefer cardio before weights and energy level is fine. I have tried the reverse for several sessions and body just seems to be out of rhythm when I lift first. I think the most benefit comes from doing something rather than nothing or following a routine that is supposed to be "better" for you when it doesn't make you feel good.
It's like saying it's better to work out in the afternoon rather than in the morning or vice versa. Whatever gets your blood pumping, do it.
