Obliques

Every time i do some oblique exercises like the Elbow To Knee Oblique Crunches neck strains a lot and sometimes hurt. can someone help me with this please i would really appreciate it.

you need to pick a spot on the ceiling and keep looking at that so that your neck stays in line with your spine - you're using your neck to pull yourself up, not your abs/core - you need to focus on those muscles and keep your neck relaxed - the strength should come from your mid section.

thanks dude, your advice is very helpful, i'll start using it because neck is really strained

Obliques are a rotary muscle group and are best trained that way. Try doing Russian twists while sitting on a decline bench at 45% or a Swiss balance ball with a med ball in hand. Chopping motions with a medicine ball or truck twists with a resistance band (think 2 handed forehand and backhand swings) are also excellent.

i disagree, they can rotate bit it doesn't mean they should

the core is best trained for anti-rotation

Side planks may be a good alternative. It's stationary but it shouldn't put any strain on your neck.
