Oh yeah i seen them now, but there mostly the ones im doing, i think i should just plan a routine out, like one day exercises with incline bench (when i sort it) others etc. Or im going to end up going down there tomorow and just continuing with the exercises that come into head, which probably isn't that bad but..

Also btw im doing it every other day, is this good? As i suppose muscles have got to rest, although there not hurting much when i stretch arms out i can feel it at the bottom a little bit.

The articles suggests reps and sets though that might help you. I would read the article closely and follow it. Couldn't hurt right?

Hi Martin,

How many calories and grams of fat are in that spread? I'm assuming thats cream cheese? Might not be the best choice if its full fat. If its low fat or fat free its not that bad.

How about this for a workout:
http://www.tmuscle.com/free_online_arti ... ury_method" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It was mentioned by another member and looks like a great program. Might be a good way for you to shake things up. What do you think?

Yes its low fat cheese - i belive 30g is 33 cals and 3.4g protein, 1.4g fat.

Ok thanks il take a look at that, had a protein shake during workout, did bench press 50kg rows, flys, just seemed like the time flew, did some lunges too, but yeah feel really tired now and can't do anymore, it is hassle though for example changing the dumbell weight to barbell to do about 3 reps of bench press, different if i was changing it like i was changing the bench so i can do incline flys (haven't managed yet  ) then i wouldn't mind but when it's for the sake of one exercise it does get annoying.

Dinner - mash, 4 sausages, peas, however only had 1 of the sausages and instead had a can of beaked beans in tomato sauce. about 200 cals, 18g fibre, 17.4g protein, 42% salt though?

Yeah do look at that workout Martin. It is broken down so its really simple to follow and i think it would be a great program for you.

You guys eat a lot of sausages over there! Great job on only having 1 sausage and having those baked beans instead. Yeah thats alot of salt so you might feel a little bloated tomorrow. Just drink plenty of water and you'll be fine.

Youre doing awesome Martin! I can't believe you've been coming back for 217 days now! Thats a long time and i'm proud of ya!

Yeah lately been having alot of sausages lately lol (well not me), yes that page is good, ive been looking at some of the exercises listed and looking into them, however for some like on 1 day theres 1 or 2 barbell exercises and something like 2 dumbbell exercises, this is fine if it's worth it, but again mainly looking to work on pecs so they stand out (muscular, and back, not neglecting legs but hopefully this will shread away the fat)

Which is what i wanted to say, i dunno what to do for example tomorow, i haven't been doing cardio recently, i guess i can't just forget it completely but i don't really want to be losing weight if its going to make me look skinny, i want to lose the fat and get a 6 pack, but im not sure if sacrifice losing more weight is going to do that?

Hmmm... I think that plan would be really good for you as its balanced. Wanting to improve one bodypart is fine but you really do need to be trying to improve all of them together. I think that plan would be worth it for you Martin. It would give you a solid layout of what to do each day so you're now longer just going in and doing whatever you feel like doing you know. I highly recommend you atleast try it for a few months and see what happens. You've been trying the other plan for over 200 days now and you aren't totally satisfied so its time to try a new approach.

Cardio... Could you go for a walk or something on days away from the weights or just ride the bike for like 20 minutes just to get the blood pumping.

Yeah i could ride the bike but fast or just steady?

http://www.scoobysworkshop.com/schedintermediate.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That one looks good also.

Day 218

Breakfast protein shake and shreaded wheat.

Can of tuna

Got to go to the gym, friend of mine called me and said he had a free day pass so i was able to go.

Did few machine exercises like inner and outter thighs, lat pull downs, shoulder press, bench press, curls, incline machine treadmill i did enjoy it 8) Theres a chance i could go tomorow too, sure it's good at first, be better if i was driving and had a job, weights at home are still good for me. After all only bought that dumbell set about a week ago.

arms are aching now though so im feeling it a bit and i feel tired.

Where ive been benching about 50kg at home, i put 40kg of weight onto a bench press, but the barbell pole was so long, little did i know it weighed 15kg, and i almost crushed ribs, i went to do 1 set then it fell on hips. Really hurt at first but i was ok.

Protein shake with water after i got in, can of beans, 2 ocen sticks, and a slice of bread for carbs with some peanut butter onit.

8)

Dinner - mash peas and fish (took batter off)

Alternate between short fast and slow steady cardio days.

The beans after workout are a good source of carbs so you really didn't need the bread to go with.

I'm glad you didn't hurt yourself when the weight fell on you. ;)

I am too, and the beans had some carbs yes, but i was still hungry after :(

If i get the chance to go gym tomorow should i go? I know you need to give yourself a chance to rest, but im not going to get the chance to go often, so was wondering if i should go or not?

Also had some chicken chunks, 110 cals 26g protein.

Ok in that case il go, arms a still a bit sore, maybe i should just do cardio today, dont your muscles need 24hours to rebuild?

Breakfast - protein shake and wheatabix.

Can of tuna before going gym

After had 3 srambled eggs, and a can of spaghetti 200 cals, 40g carbs.

May be going out tonight for a drink, haven't had a drink for over a month though, so should be alright.

Yes, your muscles need atleast 24 hours to recover. If you didn't work your legs much yesterday you could do those today. Or yes, you could do cardio and try out some other forms of cardio that you can't do at home.

Meals today look GREAT Martin!

Dinner was fish mash and brocolli.

Went out for some drinks, had quite a few, had a small portion of chips aswell as i was hungry, not ideal i know but it's not like i do it everyday and i am still a teenager after all.

Day 219

Breakfast protein shake and 2 slice stoast with peanut butter and beef slice.

Mainly resting today from last night. Will going out last night make me put on weight or anything?

Can of meatballs

Keep getting hungry, think it's to do with last night.
