Oh Nokie! Terrible situation to be in, but you did the best you could. I think I would've picked the pizza over the bagel and stuff tho :) I didn't think a few slices of pizza were THAT bad for you once in a great while. Maybe it's just been so long that I've had any breakfast "junk" that it doesn't appeal to me anymore. Thank goodness - I was at one point in prior life addicted to a sesame seed bagel piled with cream cheese and a Dunkin Donuts Coolata! That must've been 7000 calories just for breakfast! Ack!! I haven't had a bagel or Coolata since December 2008.

It's very hard to watch your loved ones eat so poorly or not follow good sound medical advice. I'm so sorry you have to go through this - your parents (your Dad in particular)is soooo lucky to have you - someone who not only cares but is willing to help, as frustrating as it is sometimes. All too often children are not there, and our parents lived a different life and need help from us- again your parents are very lucky to have you!

Yep - I would be there right next to Cassie helping you if we lived closer! Hey - maybe someday we can meet somewhere in the middle!

A shapefit get together? Oh man wouldn't that be fun! It would be so great to actually get to meet everybody! Its weird because I consider so many people on this site to be close friends, yet I haven't ever met any of you guys.

Thanks Troy! Not quite in the "middle" but a good thought. Maybe a destination event to some island somewhere, maybe a cruise or something (must be a gym handy!) I bet there are some really good deals out there! I'll check with a cruise line - maybe we can put together a "fitness" cruise for next year!

LOL! I'm sure the Mrs would disapprove.

As for a cruise... Oh that would be so much fun! It would have to be REALLY inexpensive as I'm a poor college grad with $20,000 in student loans. :)

Thanks everybody for your responses… It’s very helpful…. Fasting sounds interesting…
I just hate the fact when I’m starving… I feel weak & I get light headed. So I usually carry healthy snacks with me. But when I don’t have those snacks… I eat whatever I see so I won’t faint. Recently it’s been like that… hmm… Still trying to figure that one out… I am for sure I am NOT under eating!

As for A shapefit get together?? That’s a great idea and cruise should be super duper FUN!!! :D
