I would suggest you find a nutritional book / site that may supply a database of food calories, get a notebook and calculator, and record your daily food intake adding up all the calories.

Once you have recorded this you can compare and adjust (if needed) to your calorie requirements. There are many formulae and sites that can help you calculate your calorie needs, such as: http://www.fitnesspros.com/calculators/ ... needs.html

This site gives you your calorie needs for MAINTENANCE, for fat loss you'd want to decrease your total calorie intake by about 20% of your total calorie needs.

also bear in mind your nutrient ratio for each of your meals, i use a "50/30/20" ratio at the moment (which means of total calorie intake; 50% is carbs, 30% is protein, and 20% good fats)

If you not for all the effort of the above, then i' say you'd do best checking on your diet with a dietitian
