one legged deadlifts
what are one-legged deadlifts. How do I do them. What area does it work???

I would personally not recommend the "one-legged" style. I would stick with the basic barbell deadlift which is amazing for working the overall body. Its one of the core exercises for adding mass to the quads, hamstrings and also works your back, arms and shoulders. Its truly a great movement. You can review the barbell deadift here:

Actually, single leg work is very benficial for strength in all lower body joints (ankel, knee hip). It is not a dangerous exercise, in fact--the 2 legged version can be more risky becasue people tend to put tyoo much weight on teh bar to stroke teh ego. The single leg version is very humbling and strengthens the hip rotators, gluteus, and works the leg functionally. Go for it!
