Pre and post work out shakes

Post by jdaigle »

I have lost about 20 pounds exercising each morning on an empty stomach and now want to begin building strength and muscle. What I am reading suggests I consider a pre work out meal or drink now. Because of school I work out early mornings. Time constraints eliminate preparing a pre work out meal. I have been using Optimum Nutritions Pro Complex after each workout and I am content with that. Is there something more carb laden I should be using for the pre workout shake?
