Strength Training Schedule

Post by bmac_21 »

Lately, I've been alternating between something like...

1. Legs
2. Chest+Triceps
3. Biceps

to a monday, wednesday, friday schedule.

I was wondering if i should adjust this. For example if i should add cardio each of the workout days, or should i do cardio in between these days. Ive been thinking of using the weekends as rest days, but maybe i would need a rest day or two during the weekdays.

also, IN GENERAL, would switching to a full body workout every other day or so, be more benficiary than alternating specific muscle groups?

thanks in advanced.

nah, but what do you do at football training? you probably won't need any if you do sprinting there

if not than 1 interaval training session on tue and a sprints session on a sat

Just one thing. If you want to increase your overall strength do a lot of core training. Yoga helps a lot as well.

yoga doesnlt help with core strength...helps with static flexibility but that's about it

I've been training MMA for years. Yoga helps with strength. As does Pilates.
A lot of guys just don't want to admit that because it's too "girly".
