protein drinks

Post by vonblerk »

Is it possible to make your own protein drinks that are worth anything? I have mixed Soya granules with skim milk added coco and one tea spoon of sugar per pint of mix and blended it, it tastes really good and is easy to drink but does it have any real good value as a protein supplement for before and after workouts. Can any one give me some advice in this regard?
Thanks :?:

I've heard of people putting Tuna in a Blender, and making Tuna shakes. Frankly it sounds hideous, but some Amateur BB's do do it.

To understanding, just water. Most foods are high water content, and Fish is about 75% water, so liquidating it in more Water, shouldn't be a problem

Presumably these amateur BB's think it speeds digestion, or is quicker to consume like that.

This one BB on the programme I saw a few years ago, was working as a builder I think, so presumably, it make Tuna Snacks quicker to consume whilst on a job.

It does make sense but as I don't eat fish, and wouldn't want a readily available source of Mercuruy either, wouldn't try anything so "off the wall", as a tuna shake.
