You still seem to be having a few issues controlling the calories don't you, as you ate barely nothing on Thursday and less than 700 calories on Friday.

You'll obviously have to work out how to make that more consistent, as I'm not sure with your work schedule and such how you could proceed, unless you could furnish me with relevant details about work times, break times, exercise times etc.

Exercise is good, but diet is where it will count, ahead of exercise and right now 1,200 a day wouldn't be ideal, but even if you managed to get 1,200 calories a day every day, you'd be doing your weight loss chances greater service :).

Yeah, I'm not good at remembering to eat so I don't realise how little I've eaten until the end of the night when I'm finishing up journal and such.

I would give you details of work times and break times and such, but I never know what they're going to be until the week of and it's never the same, I don't take any food on days that I have short shifts and on days that I have long days and get a lunch, I always take food and eat a bit on breaks and on lunch, so those days, I generally do pretty well with the food. I generally try to eat about 1500 a day, but as you can see, that doesn't always pan out...

On the days that I do work out, I work out in the morning without having eaten yet because otherwise, I always end up feeling really ill the rest of the day. I don't really have a schedule of working out or anything, it's more of a "do I have time before work to work out and then shower?" if no, then I don't, if yeah, then I do.

Then have something like before you train, even if you just ate something like a boiled egg and a raw carrot as an example, or a small portion of nuts or flax seeds as another, because training on empty can cause dizzy spells and that's understandable as blood sugar is low and then you do something that has the potential to cause blood sugar lowering.

You could still take food on short shifts, as you're likely to get a break or two, then you can eat on breaks and also have something to eat on your way home after a shift or when you get back home.

I've sometimes eaten sandwiches on a bus before, or even eaten food on a train when needs be.

So I think there are ways to make sure you're getting more on some days than others, because more consistency will be key to helping you achieve your needs, or otherwise you'd get some more progress but it could be very limited.

(Didn't wake up until noon because I'm working overnight again tonight)

Lunch:
A cup of coffee with creamer and truvia sweetener
Leftover Chili with sour cream and parmesan cheese

Mid-afternoon:
A cup of coffee with creamer and truvia sweetener

Dinner:
4oz boneless skinless chicken breast grilled
a baked potato with a little butter and sour cream
green beans

The food I'm taking with me tonight (not sure if I'll eat all of it, but I thought I'd write it down now so I don't forget)
A peanut butter sandwich on whole grain bread
a protein granola bar
A large blended coffee (I know, I know. But I love coffee and I'm willing to deal with the consequences once in a while for the coffee. )

Daily Totals:
Calories: 2063
Fat: 91g
Carbs: 228g
Sugar: 129g (the coffee is to blame here)
Fiber: 20g
Protein: 81g

Workout:
Tonight is an extra strenuous evening, so I'm counting time at work as workout, (I did jog to the store earlier today, but that is only about a mile round trip) Also, I found that even leisurely walking for 7 of 9 hours at work seems to burn about 1970 calories for me :o. Obviously, that's a little crazy sounding, but it's kinda cool to think about at the same time. Kinda exciting considering on shifts, I'm not just walking, I do a lot of lifting and climbing, so, woo, job is like a workout in itself. I mean, I knew that already considering ever since I got new position, I noticed that I can actually do a few proper push-ups (well, from knees) where before this job, I couldn't even do one with proper form... So that's exciting even if sleeves are now all too tight from the new muscle, lol.

I know this is just me freaking out, but for some reason, any day that I eat more than 1500 calories, I feel like I've completely failed at the day even though I know logically, that 2000 calories is perfectly normal and healthy and I should actually be aiming to get closer to that rather than eating less than 1000... :x But yeah, I just thought I'd toss that thought out there.

1,800 calories a day is for sedentary females and around 200 - 400 more for active ones, but you could a bit less on days you're not active and these figures are not set in stone.

Don't worry about eating another 20% - 30% more, as the extra nutrients as well will be good for you :).

Hey guys! Sorry to have disappeared for a few days, but, due to the weather and stuff, internet has been knocked out, so I haven't been able to post. I'm not going to try and post the updates on the last few days, but I will post today and here on out, (so long as the weather around here doesn't make internet go out again). I'm working overnight again tonight to do inventory for the store, so I'm sure calories will be really low since I got up at noon and go in at six tonight. Something that doesn't really help food intake lately is that I haven't had any money to go grocery shopping, so I have very very little in the house.

Breakfast:
A cup of coffee with creamer and truvia sweetener
A bowl of Special K Protein Cereal with 2% milk

Afternoon Snack:
A gatorade
a sugar cookie
banana

Dinner:
Spaghetti with meat sauce and parmesan cheese

Nighttime:
Large blended caramel coffee

Daily Totals:
Calories: 1901
Fat: 62g
Carbs: 262g
Sugar: 186g
Fiber: 15g
Protein: 60g
