Thank God I don't have in-laws to worry about yet!!! :P Thanks for the support Nokie. It's good to know that I'm not the only one who struggles with it. Yeah, I'm totally happy with body, but I think that I am so close to having ideal body that I have no excuse to be lazy. I don't have months of int...

Sounds like you've already made some pretty decent progress - dropping from around 125lbs! You should be proud! I'm in agreement - brekky is essential ! I used to struggle a bit with breakfast too, but it's so important to get at least some carbs/protein in not long after you get up. Cassie's so rig...

I need to get back on top of diet & exercise. After returning from the meditation camp brain seemed to have shifted into some weird state. I was barely motivated to exercise & I wasn't eating clean. I started to get back on track & then knee gave out. So I caved again & avoided the g...

highest weight was about 65kg a couple of years back. I dropped down to about 50kg last year, but that's WAYYY underweight for a girl of stature. I'm happily coasting at about 60kg now, but it's been tough work getting back up to 60kg in a healthy way (i.e., putting on muscle, not fat). I still hav...

Yeah in the week & a half since it's happened I've been pretty immobile & I've been eating crap (emotionally & out of listlessness/boredom) & way more than I usually would. trainer has reassessed workout & I'm going to be doing a fair bit of upper body stuff & various crunch-...

It's funny. I think people expect before pictures to be drastically different to the after pics. I'm lucky to have the body that I do. I don't even want to change it that much. I just want to be leaner, fitter & stronger. I've suffered a set-back - a knee injury which will mean that I can't use ...

Thanks Boss, I'm willing to try anything to help knee recover as rapidly as possible. I'm getting MRI bumped to this Saturday, which is great & am booking a follow-up appointment with a renowned orthopedist who specialises in knees in a couple of weeks, max. But I'll get onto the supplements ASA...

Knw of anything to support recovery with a knee injury?

Hey guys, I really want to avoid getting a chunk hacked out of one of other ligaments, attached to damaged one & screwed into bone, SO... Any suggestions for supplements that support/promote tissue regeneration & growth? ACL has torn right off tibia & I know it's wishful thinking, but an...

Thanks, yeah I can't really afford to see an orthopedist everyday. That's the kind of attention that a footballer would recieve, but unfortunately I'm not getting any funding to help me out... It's a public holiday here (God save the Queen  ), so I'll be calling GP for a referral to a qualifie...

HELP! Exercises that are safe to perform with damaged knee.

In the open chat forum I mentioned that I'm pending a knee-reconstruction after anterior cruciate ligament decided to break free of tibia. I want to stay in peak physical condition if possible. I understand that I cannot use the affected leg AT ALL - & this means that the muscle will surely atro...

Pending knee reconstruction. (did you wonder where I went?)

Yep. The subject line says it all. Disappeared off to meditation camp in the best physical condition I have ever been in entire life... Only to return & cripple myself. I blame it on all the cross-legged sitting 18hrs a day for 10 days. I got back & went back to the gym - fine, no problems. ...
