If you did want to offend anyone, with your mess, you could have just stuck sanitary towels to the wall, and said it was an art installation, inspired by Tracey Emin.

Anyone who wasn't very cultured, would have easily been offended

Boss that little insight into your intellect was both hilarious and surprising! Tracey Emin indeed... Yes, bed certainly ain't no comparison to " Bed".

Don't be giving folks any ideas now, Boss. A messy room is one thing, but used condoms & stained knickers aren't considered artistic statements when posted on public forums - only in public galleries.

Witty allusion there, mister!

You're so crazy...

You look great! You know how many people would kill for a body like that?

It's funny. I think people expect before pictures to be drastically different to the after pics.

I'm lucky to have the body that I do. I don't even want to change it that much. I just want to be leaner, fitter & stronger.

I've suffered a set-back - a knee injury which will mean that I can't use right leg at all for 6 months or so. But I'm going to keep the rest of body in peak condition.

So goal should have been about 3 months away, but now it's more like 9-12 months away. :(

The harder I work now, the less work I'll have to do when I knee has been fully rehabilitated in 6 months or so.

Thanks for the compliments though - they are particularly welcome because esteem has taken a blow after knee injury. I was so close to goal & I can already feel it slipping away. Just gotta hang in there!

hey eenwoord, happy to get some news from you although they aren't really good

Don't forget that this thing appening to you will be away in a few months and that your health, body of your dream AND self esteem is for life

Keep on track while you recover and everything will be alright

Yeah in the week & a half since it's happened I've been pretty immobile & I've been eating crap (emotionally & out of listlessness/boredom) & way more than I usually would.

trainer has reassessed workout & I'm going to be doing a fair bit of upper body stuff & various crunch-style things for abs. I have to give up the roman chairs which sucks because they were really effective (note: roman chairs are the best ab-flattening & lower ab exercise I have come across & I highly recommend incorporating them into your workout!!!)...

Ah well, gotta stay focused!

highest weight was about 65kg a couple of years back. I dropped down to about 50kg last year, but that's WAYYY underweight for a girl of stature. I'm happily coasting at about 60kg now, but it's been tough work getting back up to 60kg in a healthy way (i.e., putting on muscle, not fat). I still haven't quite got the balance right, but I"ll get there with persistance. :P

PS. I am learning to love crutches - I discovered this awesome link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIcNjyN0N6s
This guy break-dances on crutches. I'm already trying to learn some new tricks!
