Re: Big differences in fat percent at night
point wasn't about workouts etc. More that I found big differences in weighing myself at night as opposed to morning. For example, the other day I weighed myself first thing in the morning and was 69kg with 20% body fat and 34% muscle(not great i know). I weighed myself same day last thing at night...

Big differences in fat percent at night
I usually weigh myself in the morning(not everyday--no point I think). I've been losing the weight but fat and muscle percent have hardly budged. But today I weighed myself in the morning first thing then last thing at night out of curiosity. There was a 3 percent difference in the fat percent and t...

Re: weight gain after quitting smoking?
I last had a cigarette a year and two months ago. I won't say quit as that makes you feel like its over and lowers your guard. It was around the third or fourth attempt at quitting. I have emphysema now, thanks to it. In a way that made quitting easier/necessary. Still though, it was tough. method w...

Runners Knee
I've started jogging over the past fortnight. Everyday bar Sundays--only around 2km. This coupled with a core routine and weights has produced great results. I did core and weights before but always slacked on cardio bar playing soccer once a week--it's made a big difference. The only downside is th...

I've stuck with the planks and the pain has gone(must've been just a twinge from never having done them before) The planks I've been doing can be seen here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DDQAIWWs2fE also added side prones and dead bugs to these and can definitley ...

chest flyes or push ups?
I've been doing flyes and presses(with dumbells) for a while now and have noticed a decrease in the fat around the chest area but would I be better off ditching the flyes and switching to push-ups? Should say I'm not looking to build mass--just tone up.
all advice welcome.

Hi, I've recentley lost just over 37 pounds. I've been doing free weights, cardio, ab workouts and severely cleaned up diet(no mean feat considering half the recipes and ingredients are so hard to find over here). I've recentley started to do core. Just simple to begin with, such as planks and walki...
