MLB Diet changes

Post by Smerdons »

I found this article which I found interesting about the US Major League Baseball team San Fransisco Giants.

I applaud the Giants management on this decision to hire a chef to prepare healthier options. It sets a good example for youth who look up to professional athletes that don't always make the most of that responsibility (of being a role model, that is).

professional athletes with those long type seasons (mlb, nba etc) have some of the worse diets going around...sure they are on the road a lot but they more then enough cash to organise a chef, food etc

Hi Les. No, why?

Cool article, Smerdons. Though, maybe they should go back to what they were doing. Doesn't seem to have helped them much this year.

Haha, OK good. I thought maybe you didn't have a sense of humor or just didn't get it.

But yes, sports nutrition has become a bit of a side interest for me these last few months. And I love Major League Baseball. Go Dodgers!

Les, do me a favor and don't pick the Dodgers! :o

That's really awesome about your internship endeavor. Best of luck, and don't ever say you don't have a chance!
