There are downsides to being very fit.....

Post by thrasher15 »

Have come along way from profile pictures. fitness is probably at a peak as to what it has been in life.

But this may sound a strange comment but I think, I have taken it too far. Here are some downsides, when you are out and about you tend to operate at a rapid rate in everything you do, because your body can, leaving you less time to "smell the roses".
Have been told by partner I'm not so good to hug, she reackons I was better when I had more body fat!!!!

While your mind operates sharply, sometimes overly so, which goes back to first point. A more tense outlook on aspects both physically and mentally. Possibly a by product of the hell workouts to get yourself to this stage of fitness.

Being too fit, could mean you're getting obsessive. Massive amounts of time spent preening the body to perfection. Perfection, that due to the delicate and ever changing balance of the bodies proporitons, if possible would surely be momentarily fleeting, at the best of times.

I probably wasn't in a good mood when I made post! at the end of the day there are pros and cons to everything you do in life.

I also spend $300 + per week on food and supplements, maybe I should cut back a little

I've been told the same thing. I think it is a small price to pay for a fit body though.

Lats? Juicy? Well I suppose they might look a bit like that, after the individual has goodly sweated.
