Need a program that works at home

Post by exinfris »

I need a program that works. I am a surgical tech and do not have alot of time or money to invest in a program or health club membership, but at 40 weight is catching up with me. Does anyone know of a workout program that does not require weight training, or running (bad knees). I have about 30 to 45 minutes in the morning to get some exercise and about an hour in the evening, any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am considered to be overweight at 195 lbs and 5 foot 9 inches, and would like to get back down to ideal weight of 180 lbs. I used to be an avid runner and rock climber until an injury to both knees ended that.

Yeah, I know how that sounds. I was out of work for almost two years due to injury. To top it off I have 3 of 4 kids still at home so yeah - Surgical Tech and no money.

No weights due to the fact that part of injury was neurological. I am just now able to start working out again, and doctor says to start with body weight excercises to strengthen core. Weights is something I can do later on once body has recovered enough.

swanso5- Thanks for the link. Going to give this one a shot. Looks like exactly what I need.
