Cardio Workout
I first run on tredmil for 20 minutes keep heartrate at 161 (target heartrate for age) then I do the bike for 30 minutes and keep it elevated at 161. I do this 4-5 times a week. This all seems pretty simple to me, is there anything else I should be doing for cardio?

Fat Loss
2 - 4/week...interval training (slow / fast/slow / fast etc)...10 - 15mins/session...slow pace should remain the same EVERY TIME you do it so progress (heart rate, distance etc) is from fast intervals...don't fall into the trap of making your recovery periods faster or it will effect your fast intervals
Aerobic Fitness
2 - 4/week...30+mins/session...basically you want to keep your heart rate as high as you can for as long as you can...if aiming for 30mins at a heart rate of 140 but at the 15min mark you can only sustain 130ish than stop and try and go longer at 140 next time (these are only example figure and are dependant on current fitness levels)
