Hello. I'm Andy as you can tell from user name. I have a slight problem that maybe someone can help me out with. You see, I can go out for a run or intense bike ride, and 5 minutes into it, I become extremely angry, and for no reason. I can't think of any reason to get angry, but I do.
Bike rage. Well that's a new one. How does this manifest itself?
Urrgh dirty ****** smelly Bus.
Oi Tractor driver, up yours you blah blah blah.
Skateboard on the pavement you moron, not the road!!! If you don't understand that, get your Dad to show you how, he's probably better at it than you anyway!!!
Seriously though how does this manifest itself? Are there any common triggers?
I get the same way when vacuuming. I hate it and you'd be best served to avoid me when I'm vacuuming the carpet.
I would suggest you try other exercises. It could be that bicycling itself is the source of your anger.
Try getting on a treadmill or eliptical trainer and see if you get angry there. If you do, then perhaps the exercise itself is triggering the anger (unusual).
You can try this: Do a hard sprint with the bicycle until you are really winded; then cycle gently. Getting the hard work done will stimulate the adrenilin and then it will dissapate during the lighter work. This will often knock the fight out of you and make you more relaxed.
I bathroom cleaning rage. Watch out when I have bleach and a scrub brush in hand...even kids leave the house And you should see the animal that comes out when I have to mow the lawn...OMG...Big trouble in the little neighborhood

Yes, but it is not the effort that is causing the rage, but the activity itself. That much effort in another activity does not engender the same reaction I would presume.
So we can assume that it is not exercise-induced rage, but activity-induced rage.
And that is what Railf will have to determine. If it is activity-induced then he just has to pick a different activity.
As for Boops, I suggest you hire a housekeeper--way cheaper than a criminal defence lawyer for certain.

Nah...when the rage gets to be too much, I just pawn it off on the kids. Slave labor and they have to earn their room and board anyway...develops character, at least that's what dad always said
