what is the average number of exercises that should be done to get the most out a particular area? does the number differ depending on he muscle group?
If you are traing on a 5 day split, then you could do this sort of thing.
Chest 8-12 sets.
Back 8-12 sets.
12 sets being for natural lifters with good size. Not really for new or newish lifters
Quads 8-12 sets
Hamstrings 8-12 sets
Again 12 sets would be for bigger naturals.
Biceps 6-10.
Triceps 6-10
Shoulders 6-10.
Again 10 sets would be for more sizeable guys.
