abs aren't that visible (probably due to body fat) but when I flex them it seems to me that they aren't parallel. The abs on right side are about 0.5 centimetre higher, which is worrying me a bit.
I regularily do sit-ups and other exercises, so I'm wondering if this could be due to not training correctly. What do you suggest?

That's pretty normal, so don't worry about it.

People do not have perfectly symmetrical bodies.

People tend to have assymetries like that. It's perfectly normal. Actually, you can't change that, no matter how you train.

Yep, unfortunately the symetry of your abs comes down to your genetics.
