Hamstring (Baseball)

Post by momentum333 »

Hey, last summer I blew hamstring playing baseball and I've been rehabbing on own over the winter. About a month an a half ago, I tweaked it again. I havent been able to get full speed and I would like to be ready for ball season which starts in about a month for me. Any tips or ideas. Thanks

You need to keep rehabbing it by the sound of things. Unless you've caused damage that cannot repair, or will forever hinder what you're capable of, then it's a case of waiting until you're able to do your thing again.

It's possible your muscles might have become fast twitch deconditioned a bit, in which case practising things like sprints, accelleration etc etc, might work, but it depends on how recovered you are.

You may need ot get some kind of medical assessment, incase.

I've done a lot of research and talked to many people, some of whom went through the same thing. I took some laser therapy and got different stretches I can do on own from a physiotherapist. Recently, I visited a chiropractor and he told me there was some sacr tissue there and he was gonna work with me and It should be fine. Thanks guys
