How many times a week?

hello,
this is first post and I'm looking to start working out and gaining muscle.
I was looking at the pre-made routines and it looks like if you only work out 3 days a week you do more exercises where if you worked out 6 times a week you only do one exercise?

could you tell me which would have more resuts? how many times a week should you workout to get the best results?

if anyone would like to add me as a friend or msg me with some tips it would be much appreciated.

depends on a host of factors:

how long have you been training for?
how often can you train?
what are you training for?

it's not as simple as "how many times should i train", what if i said 6 and you can only train 3 times a week???
