Hi there,

What are your goals? If you're trying to build mass you should lift heavier weights, lower reps. Do you have a heart condition? I believe lifting extremely heavy weights (like powerlifting) can put some strain on your heart, however simply doing regular routines with heavy weights shouldnt be hard on your heart at all (unless you have some kind of prexisting heart condition). Doing regular exercise actually gets the heart in better shape, allowing it to pump blood easier and more efficiantly.

As for the snacks, you really should try to eat food (lean protein, complex carbs, veggie, fruits, healthy fats) whenever possible. If there are days when you absolutely can't get your meal in you could buy some protein powder and drink that. Keep in mind, a meal doesn't have to be elaborate. A simple lunch meat sandwhich with veggies and whole wheat bread is a great meal and is usually easy to prepare and quick to eat.

Hope this helps...
