New to excercise

Post by mqzy »

I got a Wii fit 2 weeks ago and been using it for the free step etc for about an hour a day. I'm very unfit, cant run etc. How can i build up to be able to run. Im reall self concious about jogging because i have big ish boobs and they just hurt when i run/jog even a fast paced walk can be painful. Any ideas?
How effective is the wii fit and the free step? Is there a way i can work out what ive burned of doing the free step at all

You don't need to run to be in shape, but it can't hurt. I'd say invest in a good quality sports bra for starters. Take a look at your diet and give this a read.

Really good and helpful information in there. Also, have you considered weight training?

Hi there,

I honestly think there are much better workouts out there than the wii fit. I mean.. don't get me wrong the wii fit is defintiely better than nothing however, opinion has always been that if I'm going to do something i'm going to do it ALL OUT to get the best results.

As for the big-ish breasts, definitely invest in a good bra. This could cost up to $50 or so but will definitely help. If that doesn't work you could also try "doubling up" by simply wearing two.

Instead of running, do you have any stairs around your house? A track or football stadium is usually great. You could simply try walking up and down the stairs for your cardio until you get into better shape... then you could try jogging, then running up the stairs. I like doing stadium workouts because there is rarely anybody there so I have the whole track/stadium to myself and don't have to worry about traffic or having other people around. Do you belong to a gym? The elliptical is great as it is like running but without the pounding.

Have you thought about investing in a set of free weights and maybe an exercise ball? I think this could help you immensly as well. :)

Hello,

I think that you should put a regular good bra on, then a sports bra on top of that bra, then wrap your breast in an ace bandage so they will stay put. :D

That should keep them secure.
