You can get Eczema creams, or you could try things like Coconut based preparations, or if you've been eating anything you know you shouldn't, a little too much lately, cut back, so the food(s) you've been eating, won't aggrevate the problem.

Most food related skin problems cna be partially or fully reversed just cutting then out, and then if the problem still occurs a little, the person could tidy up their diet or possibly need a cream.

It's possible the increased temperatures, might affect the way in which it proliferates in the early stages.

The body has a mechanism like this, which is why the Hypothalamus, the part of the Brain responsible for temperature control, (amongst other things), increases temperature when ill, to try and promote an environment, where Viruses, Bacteria, Parasites and Pathogens find it harder to spread and multiply.

No. Increase temperatures is not the same as high levels of direct UV exposure. I mean sometimes in the summer month you can get hot in a Gym, but you're not getting blasted with UV rays out of the air con are you?

More tanning would only increase risk of Skin damage and possible Skin Cancer if you failed to be adequately protected, or did it too frequently, and current guidelines mean even once every two weeks is overdoing it.

Hot water can also trigger eczema flare ups so maybe use cool water when washing your hands and be sure to not take hot baths or showers. Using something like Aquaphor (the kind in the jar) before bed can also help relieve the symptoms. DS had eczema all over his back and both of these remedies helped him. Sorry for what you're going thru.

Oh really i always take hot bath :( i guess i will have to make them colder...lol i find that hot bath relax me after a hard day at work!

Aquaphor do you buy this in drugstore!!!!! I wonder if the soap at work could cause this because the other day when i wash hands it was burning maybe it was because of all the raw skin on hands but you never know!!!! Maybe i should buy a mild soap to bring to work!!!!

Definitely skip the hot baths for a while. Aquaphor is available at drugstores. Be sure to get the kind in the jar, not the lotion in the bottle. The jar stuff will look and feel almost like petroleum jelly--that's why it's good to use it right before bedtime. It can soak in all night. Not sure what to say about the soap at work, since your hands are so imflamed but a milder one couldn't hurt. Try to use fragrance free ones and avoid the antibacterial kind as they will be harsher and more irritating. Good luck!

Be aware that you might be getting a possible reaction from something like Peanuts, and recent evidence states that Sesame seeds can be responsible for some Eczema flare ups.

Though it should be stated it's the seeds. I've seen nothing to implicate the oil in any possible Flare-ups.

HI Boss!!!

I really don't eat nuts at all i should now that i got allergie test done and its fine but still nervous...

But sometime i wonder if it could be cause by the commercial hand soap at work, today i brought mine...

Last night it was so bad that it woke me up at 3:30 am it was so itchy i could not stand it... so i gave up and put some of that cortisone cream and it went away so i could go back to sleep....it was so bad wow it was crazy!!!
