Pull ups/Chin ups

Post by ce7 »

I know you're supposed to lift no more than every other day, but I've heard you can do body weight exercizes like pulls ups every day. Can anyone tell me more about thing?

No you can lift every day, unless you're quite young or new to lifting, but if you're neither of those, then you just shouldn't go over 6 days. Always take a day off.

A lot of people who lift weights do 5 or 6 day splits.

you could but unless your varying the intensity of each day you'll over train to quickly and even then you want at least 1 full day off a week anyway
