Morning,
For sometime now I have been working on a fitness routine where I work a muscle group each day.
Despite working to the point where I can't lift the weights anymore, I havn't put on any muscle, I can feel that I have got stronger in the arms, but besides that there has been know noticable change.
Also, despite working until I can no longer lift the weights, muscles don't feel sore afterward. So i think I might be doing something wrong.
Could someone please let me know how I can this. The only possible reason I could see is that diet isn't right, I have a fairly high metabolism and when attempting to work out how many calories I would need to build muscle I came out with 3,600, which is a heck of a lot.
Thanks
Josh.

We're going to need more information:
Height
weight
age
workout on each day of the week:
Monday
Tuesday
etc.
When that information is available you can expect some well-reasoned responses.
It is fairly obvious that if you are 12 years old or 30 years old or 81 years old the responses will be different.
