Working on back

Post by mzaruba423 »

As of the last few months I've been trying to concentrate more on back and less on chest. I don't really know what a muscular back looks like so any advice would be great. Here's a picture of me doing a handstand, i flipped it so it's easier to judge ha.

Image

it's kind of small so sorry if you have to squint, but is there anything really noticable which i should work on?

you are lean, have a nice base, just continue to rows dead and vertical pull (and gain weight for sure ...)!

Too, judging by this picture you seems to have well developed shoulders compared to the rest.

Good job so far I guess.

i have some nice photo's of minie but until the internet decides to work at home properly i can;t post them anywhere, i've done a shitlod of rows and deads the last 2 yrs though

you need more mid back stuff, reall squeeze those blades together...decrease the wt so you can actually do it

haha thanks everyone for the advice and compliments. when i saw this picture i was like wow really is that me thats amazing -- especially if i would've showed the whole picture being next to another kid who was a lot less muscular than me. but it makes me happy to see such an improvement.

and as for heelus, i used to constantly workout shoulders with cleans and presses, lateral raises, arnold press etc because i wanted to get that ball look without having to flex shoulders, but i've been doing all of waterbury's workouts during the last 4 weeks and not many of them have included shoulders which is pretty disappointing.

they get used too much usually from all other upper body movements so they don;lt need to be trained a whole lot all the time...ecspecially with the amount of benching most do
