so if i did an hour of jump roping like vigorously, metabolism would be very fast so if i take a walk 30m after then would i burn alot of calories?

Another time is first thing supposedly, so some diet eggheads say if you want a big calorie meal, Breakfast might be the answer, as Metabolism might slow down around early evening time, and eating 400 or 500 calorie meals around 8PM, might not be the way to go.

Definitely though after workouts is when it's most cranked up, as the exercise is encouraging more Metabolic activity, through things like increased Heart Rate and heightened Brain activity.

the idea is to keep it fast the whole time

1 - do resistance training x 3 - 4/week
2 - make "cardio" intense such as sporints, not joffing and long distance runs
3 - frequent meals throughut the day, 5 at least but 7 is better and easily doable
4 - eat calories don't drink them

why do you want to burn a lot of calories?

i'd rather burn a lot of fat....

yes there is a difference
