I know this might sound a bit frustrating, but I have had for a few years now and I am a bit too afraid to eat. previously, I purged almost 3 times a day to keep caloric intake below 1200. Now that I am trying to gain muscle, yet lose fat in a healthy way FINALLY, I am a bit scared that I am eating too much.
I am eating around 1700 cals, healthy foods with proportional amounts of protein, fat, and carbs. Also, I exercise... enough to have 500-700 deficiency from the 2100 cals need set by this website, so I can lose weight.
but, should I really trust this calculator? Do I really need that much food? I really don't want to gain weight. That just makes me even more frustrated.
Currently I am, 5'3'' 128 lbs, 18 yrs old, and 28% bf (I know too high:( ) goal weight 115 with 21% bf.
btw, this 1700 cals a day (yesterday and today) really stopped constant cravings, so i'm really happy that way.
again, I'm sorry if this post might anger some people that may not see calorie counting not too serious. I'm a bit difficult. that's all.
Do I really need 2100 cals?

That guy is using an Airtelbroadband indian server. Guess if he's got time to post stuff like that, there mustn't be much call centre work in India right now.
1,700 is essonaly okay for now, I agree, but I would suggest in time, you need to be looking at around another 300-400 a day in the future, but for now, it's a case of just getting used to your new way of doing things, and trying not to slip back into old ways.
So good luck with that. You ARE doing the right thing, and you should be proud of it.
