Weight Gainers

Post by YoungBlood »

Does anyone have opinions, advice or info, on weight gainers. I am currently 5'11, 132 lbs. I used to way 145 but lost some weight recently so now i have VERY LITTLE body fat. I lift weights regularly and eat healthy but it seems hard for me to gain the weight i want for football since it's starting to get more physical at level (highschool). I have a body very similar to dads, we both have a fast metabolism and he had the same problem in high school. Of course, now that he is 55 he appreciates the kinda of body he has because although he works out, he eats whatever he wants when he wants and doesnt have anything close to a gut to show for it. The same goes with me but now its more of a hindrance than something i can appreciate. I've thought about trying out weight gainers, stuff u would but from GNC and the like (in powder form) and was wondering if anyone had advice on them. I am 15 btw. I'm having trouble gaining body mass and muscle, ALTHOUGH i eat well and work out regularly, i also take some protein supplements, but not regularly.

weight gainers: simple carbs for insulin spikes, complex carbs for endurance, fat and proteins. fats are important for the body anabolic hormones to work properly.

try it: fruits + pasta + cheese + lean meat

try weight gainers before you go to bed, and also if your not already, up the intensity of your lifting, as well as increase protein intake
